snapped the bolt on connector

Hi family,

So I am replacing the tranny fluid on my 2000 S500 and accidentally (yeah of course) I snapped the 7mm bolt holding electrical connector. So I guess Ill have to drop the valve body to try to remove the broken bolt.

My question: is it worth to spend extra $180 bucks replacing the conductor plate while im in there? Car has 169K miles and shifts just fine. What is the lifespan on these plates?
