Door Lock Actuator Repair Kits

Anyone had any luck with these repair kits? I see mixed reviews out there. Are some kits better than others? Looking to do this job once. As luck would have it I need all 4 doors done. My trunk lock also needs to be done... But on the bright side my fuel door, headrests, and seats all work fine

Just an example of the kits I'm looking at:

Thanks in advance!

I tried the repair kit, worked for a few months, I bought the new actuator assembly and will install as soon as the weather warms up a little. Others may have had better luck but I do not want to do this job more than twice on one door

hmm I'm thinking about doing all doors (driver door works fine but fault message in all 4 doors on autel readout), found 4 sets so the entire assembly with plugs and everything from 1 car with my build year at my local junkyard. 2 have small hair cracks in the caps, so I'm thinking superglue and tie wraps. Junkyard asking 40 bucks a piece, repair kits 70 a piece (could swear I saw them on ali for a lot less a while back but not any more), or repair what's already in the car. What would you guys do?

That's the golden tip, good idea, probably would've gone ahead with super glue and start complaining I have a super strong 2 component epoxy.

Thx for the input, I'm leaning towards fixing what's in the car, and replacing with used parts if necessary.

Understood, I was happy not having to take the whole unit out of the door and drilling the rivet and replacing it, but I think I got about six-eight months or so. trunk actuator repair is still fine though. I agree with the epoxy, mine cracked in a different spot, so the repair was not the cause of failure, old plastic?
