Question 2003 Front Drive Shaft help

Date registered: Aug 2017Vehicle: 2012 GL 350 BluetecLocation: IdahoPosts: 2Mentioned: 0 Post(s)Quoted: 0 Post(s)(Thread Starter)I just replaced the OEM front drive assembly on my S430 with a Durashaft brand. Now I'm feeling & hearing virbration above 40 mph. It also gets worse with an incease in speed. I can even feel it in the steering wheel. Any ideas? I did mark OEM shaft & both flanges before removing shaft but inadvertently wiped off the marks on the differential flange and transfer case flange. So when installing the new shaft, I had no idea on where it should line up on both ends. Could that be my vibration cause? If so, how do I correct it & eliminate the vibration?

The cause is most likely the messed up driveshaft phasing. Find a good 'driveshaft' shop to balance and properly phase the shaft

you can phase the front drive shaft to the rear drive shaft with the raised markings by searching both forums.
Are you talking 4matic??
