I've looked all over and can't seem to find the brake bleeder screw size(s) for a 2001 s430. I've been able to find a couple different screws that supposedly fit the fronts, but none for the rears, and no sizing information. The front calipers are 20.7046.04 and the rears are 421221300. If anyone can point me to where I can find this information I would really appreciate it.
The caliper bleeder screws ARE NOT a 'standard' bolt. They have a softer tapered seat and looser threads that seals leak tight. You MUST get new ones from either another caliper (junkyard? or a Dealer can likely order them for you. While a 'standard' metric bolt might screw in, and even seal around the threads with enough Teflon tape, that is only a very temporary and emergency fix.

I am aware they are specific to their function. As I previously stated there are brake bleeder screws marketed that fit the stock calipers on this car. I was asking about sizing information for bleeder screws, not random screws.
A customer service rep from Carson Quality Brake responded to my inquiry and told me their part #H9428 will work for the rear as well as the front even though it's listed everywhere as front bleeder screws. This part is sold on ebay as well as several mainstream automotive stores. So far the only sizing I'm seeing is from O'Reilly. They list #H9428 as Size/Thread: 8mm (M8 X 1.25); Length: 35.3mm.
I have never measured the bleeder screws, and have never seen different sizes. From very heavy agricultural, aircraft, trucks, autos, motorcycles.
The 8mm x 1.5 diameter and thread pitch---looks correct.
