Where did you guys find your car ?
I have 2000 S 430 that has 97000 miles it runs great except has issue with transmission ecu but I bouth replacement part. I had installed new air struts, new tires and new valve block and conductor plate. I am trying to recoup cost of new parts I put in. Where is the best place to sell the car ? I put add on Craig's list is auto trader worth it. Where did you guys found your S class w220 ? I am trying to find the best place to sell it

I know of no dealers or guys who focus on older Mercedes in the US. There's a shop in the UK called https://www.theslshop.com/ that does just that. I've always said that there's a market in the US for well kept older cars but apparently, there isn't because no one has done it. If I had the space and the money, I will do just that. Buy and sell older Mercedes.
Try larger Metropolitan cities with higher incomes where poeple are more likely to own Mercedes. New York, Connecticut, Mass, NJersey has tons. Florida and Georgia are also good spots. West Palm Beach is flooded. So is California and parts of Texas.
Having said all that, create a profile and set up searches in CarGurus.com. Try Ebay and Craigslist. For Craigs, there is https://www.autotempest.com/ which covers many other engines and generates searches covering multiple states. Determine in advance if you are ready to travel for the right car or if you will only travel up to 100 or 200 miles ratio.
I'll be looking for an S500 or an E430 in the future but I'm going to wait for the right car, from the right owner and all the paperwork to show the services the car has had.
