Hello this is my first post. I just purchased the car today. 2000 S500 LWB with 91k miles. Both drivers and passengers low beams are not functioning at all. Took the bulbs out and they look to be fine.
The headlight assemblies are not original and do not have HID, manufacturer is Bosch but doesn't have the star molded into the plastic.
All the other lights work just fine. I can't find where the fuse or relay is for the headlights to check. Any clue as to what I should start looking at?
Bosch is the OE for Mercedes-Benz, so the quality should be fine. The "fuses" on W220 cars are of the electronic type. They're controlled by the two front SAM modules.
Are any of the other lights (turn signals, fog lights, high beams) functioning?
Also, do you have the traditional halogen low-beams (the ones with the filament) or do you have HID (aka "xenon") bulbs?
