B1377 Code Help
Hi everyone - this is my first post here so thanks in advance for your help! I pulled codes from my 2002 S55 and, among others (28 in all!), there's this one that I can't find much information about: "B1377 S47/1s2(RL door pressure contact point): short circuit to ground". Does anyone know if this refers to the Keyless Go lock button in the driver rear door handle, or is it referring to some kind of pressure switch in the door jamb (or elsewhere)?

It sounds as if you might have DAS, and if so, many of the software packages include STARFINDER, which will tell you exactly where the sensor/switch is located.

Hi Wally - no, I don't (not yet anyway). I used a Launch X431 V+ scanner and I think I need to renew the subscription to access the online repair support, which I'm hoping to avoid but it may be my best bet.

Soft close is working on that driver rear door so I don't think it's that it. I just found this diagram and it appears the code references the handle, so the "door pressure contact point" must be the lock button in the handle. If it is, replacing the entire handle is the only option, right?
The funny thing is the Keyless Go lock/unlock function on all doors stopped working after I cleared all the codes; I wouldn't have expected that from clearing the code.
