S500 airmatic not raising to appopriate lvl
I just finished up swapping out both my front Air struts, and upper control arms. The driver side aired up to the correct lvl but the passenger side isn't. The passenger side does raise up and doesn't lower back down but it only raises a little bit then the compressor turns back off, when i hit theairmatic button but besides that it doesnt move. Read something about jacking up the side and diconnecting the battery for a bit of a reset but all it does is cause the rest to match the jacked up height and the passenger side front doesnt adjust at all minus the slight raise after pushing the airmatic button.

Very carefully check the condition and mounting of the passenger-side ride level sensor and its linkage, comparing it to the driver's side. It is easy to mount something wrong. Also unplug the two-connector wire harness from the forward part of the fender well, carefully hold the two plugs in the correct position and insert them simultaneously. Again, easy to leave a poor connection here.

And, as well, check all the connections if they leaking air. If the either the amount or the pressure are insufficient, the car won't raise and lower as it should. It may also be a sign of a weak compressor, which doesn't deliver pressure and/or amount, sufficiently.
