Stupid trunk strut issue

Hello everyone, so I recently replaced my trunk struts on the car. The other day I opened the trunk and the top piece that locks the strut to the trunk flew away never to be seen again. Can I buy that separately or am I assed out? If I can can someone point me in the direction of where I can get it?

The part you need is not part of the car, but part of the strut.
I am afraid you are assed out and have to get a new strut.
I go with Suspa when I replaced mine....just make sure that washer/holder is on the right way or it will pop off...
