throttle lag / sluggish acceleration

I inherited a 2006 S500 recently. Nice car, but coming from a manual transmission 06 Acura TL, the throttle lag issue is an annoyance. Even my wife's Subaru Outback feels punchier, even if it would lose out in 0-60.

I'm driving in S mode. Tried the transmission reset and it seemed to help, but after a few days, it's back to sluggish.

Even if I floor the accelerator, there's a lag of a half-second or so before it downshifts and accelerates.

Read +/- opinions about Sprint Booster. I'm not clear on whether it actually decreases the *lag time* between pressing the pedal and brisk acceleration. It's also confusing on the SB website b/c it lists the product as for the W220 (1995 -2005) whereas I believe the 2006 was the last year of the W220 (what I have).

Does anyone have install instructions for the W220 specifically? Just plug and play, or a bit more complicated on this model?

Youll like the sprint booster it is plug and play

because it’s made by a European company they just put 2005 because Mercedes rolls out the new chassis a year earlier in Europe . The w220 started in 1999 in Europe . It will work on your 2006 w220
