Door Locks, Trunk, Won't Unlock Or Lock 2001 S500
I replaced the PSE with a new motor because the old motor was burned out and blew fuses previously.
Now when trying to unlock, lock doors or trunk, the motor runs for around 20 seconds, then shuts off! I don't hear any air or leaking. It does not blow fuses or overheat.
How do I get this to work properly?
I only had this car for around 3 weeks and this is frustrating. Any help is much appreciated.

The PSE pump (like almost everything on the W220) is computer-controlled, and must be programmed for the options present on your particular car. Doing so requires the usage of DAS (Diagnostic Assistance System), the dealer-level computer system used for diagnosis, testing, repair, maintenance and programming on our cars (as well as on essentially every vehicle from the MB family of cars, trucks, buses, etc.).
Certainly, a dealer can do the programming, or, you can sometimes find an independent repair shop that has (and knows how to use) DAS. Or, for somewhere around $400 - $600, you can buy a DAS clone, and do your own diagnosis, testing, repair, maintenance and programming. While that sounds high, it is as necessary as the wrenches and screwdrivers you will use. And when/if you get out of Mercedes maintenance, you can sell the system for virtually what you paid for it.

Thanks for the response, but I am using the same circuit board, I just replaced the motor. This does not need reprogrammed does it?
I had read on a forum that if you use the same circuit board or replace the circuit board with the same exact model board from another car that this will work?

Thank for you joining the community!

Sounds like your motor replacement wasn't all that was needed...sadly...
If the circuit board and plumbing are the same - then no actuation and no sound of air moving implies that there is no air from the pump.
New motor or not, your symptoms suggest that the pump is not working.

When using keyfob to unlock/lock the interior lights flash and then the motor starts running then stops around 20 seconds later.
Is it possible when I was putting the new motor in that I put the vanes in the wrong direction? (little pieces of plastic that fit in the grooves?)
Is there a wrong way to install this?

You are correct - if you replaced only the motor for the pump, no reprogramming should be needed.
I have not rebuilt the pump, so I have no idea whether or not it can be done incorrectly. There are several videos on rebuilding the pump on YouTube - check some of them out.
The computer should have gotten reset during the repair, but just in case...
Go to the fuse block behind the right rear passenger's heels (behind the floor lamp) and pull out the yellow 20-Amp fuse near the right end. Wait a few seconds, then replace the fuse - this resets the PSE computer.. Try the door locks, soft-close, etc. and see if anything changes.
