garage door opener
tried to program the garage door opener in the mirror assembly, however, when pressing the "2 and 4" buttons to clear the programming, no flashing light comes on.
on the theory that it might be working, but the bulb is out, I tried to program button 2 with the remote, but no flashing light their either and nothing happens.
is this a known issue that fails? any suggestions?

The system is based on homelin. Possibly you need to teach your garage door opener "Homelink" first, so it can understand the cars protokoll? But I'm not 100% sure.

I have a Garage system that calls Nice. I tried everything to pair the system with my w220, but this never worked. I think I used 4 hours. It seems to the challenge was my car couldn’t talk with the garage system.
Then i put a garage remote in the little room into the car, and this works very fine😎

Ha ha, doing it the old fashioned way for now.
I think the Homelink system in the car isn't working. Even when I press the two "2 and 4" buttons on the mirror to reset, no flashing light comes on.
It could be the bulb, so I followed the steps to pair with the remote, but no luck.
