One touch sunroof -problem? Help
Hey all. Every so often my sun roof opens completely by simply tapping the button back once. Other times without me even playing with the sunroof button, it returns to requiring me to hold the button back until it's finally open. I looked in the owner's manual and there wasn't any clear instructions on how to program the sunroof to be one touch. Can anyone shed some light on this and help me out? Thanks.

I am struggling with the sunroof a bit myself. On the CL, this used to be a total no-brainer, but on the S-class the memory is surpringly stubborn.
The memory holds the last position of the sunroof. If not completely open, the next time you open it, it will stop at the same "semi-open" position. Normally all you do is press the open button again and hold the button (past the click in the switch) until the new desired or fully "open" position is reached. That's it.
Problem is on my S-class that doesn't seem to work consistently. I got it to have the memory setting further back, but not completely open.
Go figure!
