Talking Facelift vs pre-facelift grill

So, in 2002 w220 had it's body face-lifted and some of changes were "offering a more refined front-end with a larger, more upright grille" Wikipedia says.
People keep sayin, facelifted grill is bigger, wider and larger.

As a big Mercedes-Benz fan, i searched myself. What's obvious, is that facelift hood placed more upright and front bumper meets the grill in place, where pre-facelift hood lip were located.

Watched a video on youtube, where russian guy put facelift grill on pre-facelift hood, by cutting it's lip below. Screaming its "wider and larger!"
But if it was, at least wider, how could it fit pre-facelift hood frames so good?

One guy, working at body shop said, both grills are similar and can replace each other. The difference is just facelifted hood and bumper.

In my opinion, facelifted grill is 0.5 cm longer at the bottom, which replace pre-facelift aluminum hood lip. But it's not wider at all ✋

Read forums a lot, people still arguing, cause there is no proportions revealed. What do you guys think?
May be somebody will do measurements..👀👌

Workshop mechanic sent me this pic, including both facelift and pre-facelift grills. Looks similar, even if im trying to find the difference.
Plus he said, facelift grill fits pre-facelift hood perfectly and will send pictures as soon as possible.

Okay, this guy sent pics of facelift grill installed on pre-facelift hood. Looks kinda awkward.
I can easily notice, that it's not wider, just longer at bottom, cause covering that pre-facelift aluminum hood lip.

What do yall think?

, FeFacelift vs. Pre facelift. Hood is different, bumper is different and the grill is different. And NOTHING is interchangeable w/o major changes of the plastic bumper. the aluminum hood and the plastic/metall grill. Just forget the idea.

Im not trying to do anything to my pre-facelift w220
The idea is to understand both sizes of the grill. If it's bigger, than how much cm wider or longer?
