LCD upgrade for S500
Are there any ways to upgrade the LCD or hack it to take RCA video input?

Has anyone got any serious LCD screens and audio upgrades for the S yet?

I'm new, anything I should be aware of when upgrading the audio?

you cannot hack the screen but you can add a TV tuner with dual a/v inputs and activate the dummy button on your nav to use with the tuner. Check my pics out at http://homepage.mac.com/drsunilpatel/PhotoAlbum14.html

Need someone to help me confirm:
Can someone please help me confirm the following:

I'm in the USA

1. My 2000 S500 has COMMAND 2.5
2. The COMMAND 2.5 from the US can be upgraded with TV Tuner from Germany
3. TV Tuner will allow me to watch TV as well as RCA input if I get the RCA to RF converter
4. TV Tuner will not have any big bulky antenna outside my car
5. TV Tuner is well intergrated with the buttons right now

For some reason that link I listed dosen't take you directly to the video system I was trying to direct you to.
Ounce you click on the link, go to the upper left corner of the page and click Interior sport packages, then it will take you to a list of various Models then click w220 and you'll see what I'm talking about.....

2). yes
3). yes (TV has 2 RCA inputs)
4). yes (it will not have a bulky antenna)
5). yes (that is why using a factory MB TV tuner is the isht!)

Hey Ricker, thanks for the info,

I found a lot of cool stuffs on that website!! but I didn't find the TV Tuner I was looking for.

Does anyone know pricing and ease of installation of the TV Tuner?

I'd like to meet someone who has done a lot of mod on the S500... are there anyone in the Bay area?

Thanks!! I'm so excited about all these mods... I feel like a kid again!

That web site supposedly includes the TV Tuner w/that dvd set up...
