Can anyone recommend a shipping company / car transport company to bring an s 500 from Smithtown (Long Island) to the border crossing in Detroit Mi ? There are a lot of companies advertised, but I'm looking for one you can trust.

All the companies you see , they are all brokers who just post the job on centraldispatch for truckers to bid on

If you’re new to shipping, the biggest thing is just managing expectations. Most companies you see recommended are brokers, so getting multiple calls after requesting a quote is pretty normal. I’ve shipped a car once across states and had a decent experience — just took photos beforehand and let the carrier handle the rest. As long as you pick someone with consistent reviews, the process is usually a lot smoother than it looks.

I always use Montway online quote to compare to the broker bids I get . Sometime they are higher sometimes lower and if Montway is lower i either ask my broker to beat their price or just go with Montway
