2006 Merc Benz S350

Hi Guys!

I just got a 2006 Mercedes S350 with 45,000 miles on it. I got a pre-purchase inspection from MB at Ann Arbor, Michigan and they said that the car is in good condition except for a minor valve cover gasket leak. I needed advise on how to get this problem fixed. I am unable to repair it and I need some assistance and help in understanding the problem. The dealership further advised that it is a minor problem and it can be fixed next year but I wanted a second opinion. Also, I am based in Long Island, New York and would appreciate it I can get the contacts for a reliable Mercedes mechanic who can address the issue that I have. Thank you!!

they all leak A little and you can leave it like that for 100,000 miles As long as it stays minor

If you keep the area reasonably clean you can periodically check yo make sure it stays "minor".
