Front Differential Fluid replacement
Hi all, Just replacement the left front CV boots as one broke. I thought the occasional metal noise was coming from the bearings. I test drove today
and the metallic noise came back. I'm now leaning towards the front differential? I'd like to replace the gear oil. My mechanic told me I should do this
when changing the motor mounts. Has anyone replaced this oil? If so, how difficult was it? Thank you,
Ed

The way it was explained to me by the dealer was they have to slide out the right axle.
I am also told there is a 10mm port on the right side. Its a hex screw and you can get a vac in there are suck it out as best as you can.
I had a shop do this for me.
