Question about AMG front bumper lower splash guard/engine shield

Question about AMG front bumper lower splash guard/engine shield
Hey folks!
I upgraded the front bumper and hood on my 2001 S500 to a facelift hood and AMG bumper
Now underneath, the original plastic splash guard doesn't meet up with the end of the bumper, there's a couple inches gap between the two
I found the splash shield made for facelift front bumper but looking underneath my front bumper I don't think that's going to fit
Anyone know what i'm talking about or have any pointers?
