w220 Side markers
I aim to fit side marker lights to my UK spec 2005 W220. Would a member from the USA kindly tell me in detail, how the wiring is routed from the front SAM units to the marker lights.
I believe that the marker lights are unique to USA & Canada and I know that the wiring was emitted for cars destined for other countries. I have a wiring diagram from WIS and it appears that the wires run from the LH Sam connection #6 and RH Sam #12 to the lights without any midway connectors. I want to follow the routing exactly as US models. I assume that the gray and black wire was part of the main looms from the SAM units, so where do they branch off and again how are they routed. The car is fitted with parksonic sensors if that makes any difference. I have looked on EPC and can't idenify the two harness part numbers, so any help there would be appreciated. Any photo's would also be helpful. I have managed to obtain the RH moulding with marker (A2208851421) now I am looking for the LH (A2208851321) if any one has one for sale and willing to ship to the United Kingdom, please contact.
