COMAND display question
I have an 04 s430. On the night display (background is dark), when I go to the fader, I can only see the crosshair without the car background. Is that what everybody sees or is it defective? I could have sworn on the test drive demo car, you can see the car background just like during day mode. Also, on the botton strip during night mode seems very difficult to read, like there is a backlight missing.

Sounds like you may need to adjust the screens brightness in the service menu.

i tried that. it didn't help. so are you saying you do see a car in addition to the crosshair on the fader/balance screen during night mode like during the day mode?
