ACoff light stays lit; reset?

My HVAC "ACoff" light is on and won't go off when I press the button. I also tried lowering the temp to the lowest possible to see if that would get it to come on and it didn't. I have heard that the dealer can do some kind of reset for that button if there are no other issues. Is there a way I can try to do it from my driveway? Secret menu?

Probably a freon leak, but you should be able to get into the stored codes:
a.) a/c switch "on"
b.) push both charcoal filter button and
REST at the same time.
c.) you can scroll how many faults the a/c system
has by using the temperature selector
button.from the a/c display screen you can see
what fault codes you have and how many.
d.) to delete the fault press left AIR AUTO button
and then press right AIR AUTO button.
e.) press out the right AIR AUTO button and then
press out the left AIR AUTO button, after you
did this the display will show it is deleting
fault codes.

you deserve many invisi-bucks! The error was B1298 (Evaporator temperature sensor). I reset it and the light goes off now when I press the button. I haven't driven it yet but feel better about it already.

I had an issue where the radiator fan wasn't spinning so I replaced it. In diagnosing it, I turned the AC way down... steam started coming out of the engine bay and the engine started to stutter so I quickly shut it off. I'm thinking the code was stored since then?
