Not all of these are necessary each time, but this is how you can reset programmed limits as necessary.

Engine running, turn the steering wheel full left, full right, full left.
For each window: Push button to run window fully down, hold button for ten seconds after window is down. Push button to run window fully up, hold button for ten seconds after window is up.
Repeat process for sunroof open and close.
Repeat process for steering column up and down, and for in and out.
Repeat process for each movable seat back and forth.
Check seat memory position, reset as necessary The system saves all positions for the seat, and driver's seat position also save positioning for both outside mirrors and the interior mirror. It will also save different positions for each key fob.
I have never had to reset the radio selections.

Sometimes you dont need to do any of this . Be especially careful with steering wheel control as they have been known to break when fully running them to the extreme Limit and your column could get stuck in an undrivable position.

Did that. While I was putting in the battery I thought why not try it on my trunk. It has not worked correctly for years. I never open it. It worked? Maybe my trunk is OK now? I'll start using it and I'll see what happens. Thanks!!

If someone posts their trunk system is wacko tell to try the 10 second thing. Both full up and full down.
