So few questions. I just picked up a 03 S430 4 Matic for 1000$ and it Runs fine, drives pretty well, not a single warning light or malfunction in the display, new tires, straight body nice paint. Few quirks, like PSE failed and trunk actuator split, blower fan dead. the Usual. But my what im concerned with is all 4 doors side glass. They have all started to severly fog, cloud, bubble and distort. Here is what im wondering.

Is the double layer glass an option or standard on these?
Was this issue ever corrected or do they all do it? Meaning if I start searching wrecking yards am I wasting my time?
Anybody in the Washington/Oregon/Idaho Area have a parts car with some nice glass?

Double pane glass was standard

some small bubbling is common but not fogging or other problems

any junkyard car should have good glass
