Need new tires for S500 4-matic, any recommendations

All 4 tires need replacement. Any suggestions, the car is driven in snow as well so Im looking for high performance all seasons. Any suggestions? How about the Michellin Pilot AS sports??

I went with the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tire and couldn't be happier. Keep in mind I have 20" wheels and the ride is so incredibly smooth. The All Seasons should be just as good. Try tirerack.com to get some specs and feedback on the different models.

I've got a set of Michelin Pilot AS sports on my 2003 S-430 Sport and am very happy with them. They handle very well and I put them to the test on mountain roads in Wyoming and Colorado this past summer. Much better than the original equipment Bridgestone 05s. Another less expensive tire I was happy with were Continental Exterme Contacts that were on my 2002 S Class. I did not keep that car long enough to know how well they were going to wear.

I agree. I have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and they are great all around. They cost a bit more, but the treadwear rating is 400. So I'm expecting around 30k miles from this set compared to 20k on the other brands.

We got roughly 24K miles on the OEM MXV4s. Hopefully we can get a little more out of the Pilot Sport A/S. So far there is a drastic improvement in handling and braking that I've noticed. The car is my mother's daily driver, and while she doesn't push it as hard as I do, she actually stated that the ride is more comfortable. I did bump the pressure up a little but, so I wont get the premature wear of the sidewalls like on the last set. What pressures is everyone using? I'm using 3+ per tire than what MB recommends.
