w220 low power, no kickdown
Hi guys,
Today I went to check out a 2003 s350, great condition and well kept car, it just has almost no power (like 5%) from stand still and no kick down. The engine seems to run smooth as butter as are the shifts. The SRS light is on, and the message 'pre safe inactive' on screen (dead battery). But I don't think these have anything to do with the power problem. Does this ring a bell with anyone? What area should I focus on?

Not a lot of shifts, maybe 70 or 80, at no point does the power feel normal just floor it from start 5 sec later it's going 5km/h around 40km/u it feels like a 1 liter engine, it's around 2000 rpm at 80.

It’s your electronic accelerator pedal very common problem and takes 5 minutes to change there’s one bolt and one electrical connector
just buy a new one from the dealer or fcpeuro.com
