Mystery coolant leak
Need help identifying a leak.
My 2000 s430 is loosing coolant. Nothing is dripping on the ground. But the rear passenger foot well is soaked drivers side is damp. Luckily it is only the carpet and didn't reach the SAM unit.
Even stranger is that it leaks while the engine is cold and not running. 🤷♂️
But when it's on and warmed up it seams to hold coolant.
The only thing I can think of would be the heater core.
Recent radiator, reservoir and hoses from radiator replaced.
The heater has not been working but I think that is a faulty duo valve.
The other suspect is that the low coolant is from trapped air that has worked it's way out. And the water is from the air conditioning condensation drain. But I can't seem to locate that drain, and google hasn't found it either.
Yes I have checked the drain under the hood above the air filter, it is clear and draining.
Any suggestions on where to start?
