New head unit command?
Haven't posted in a while, I have a 2000 S 500, It has a little over 110K miles, have owned it for about 10 years, bought it with 57K miles, only issues so far were replaced all 4 Air struts with Arnott new, about 5 years ago, some minor issues and maint. I have had an issue with the command unit I guess that is what it is called, some functions have never worked, like GPS, never have been able to adjust clock, radio features like sound adjustments, other functions will only let me go to one screen, and when I get to the screen, allows me only to forward or back one place. would like to replace entire unit, not sure if the head unit or command are one and the same. questions what are my options? care is in pristine shape otherwise and is covered all winter. You want a modern Android dvd unit that is custom made to matches the look of the w220 dash . Erinsin makes one it is plug and play using the lmbenz cable they sell
