Has anyone had problems with a periodic transmission clunk when entering into traffic. My dealer (after many visits) finally herd the noise but does not know what it is, nor do they seem to excited to find out. I should not have a ford style clunk in my new mercedes. please help. also anyone know of service issues or recalls for the 2004 model year?

a TSB has been out for improved shift quality, might not cure it 100% tho. I have never driven an automatic that doesn't clunk sometimes.
