Reinstalling Steering Rack
Does anybody know any tricks to reinstalling a steering rack? I can't for the life of me get the hydraulic line with the 17mm line back into rack, nor can I get the coupler back up to where the steering wheel is.

Are you doing this with the weight on the front wheels (such as on a four-post lift)?

No. I am doing it on the ground. This already sounds like I am going to have to have a shop finish the job. It will need to be aligned anyway, but they are going to have to tow the car from my place.

If the front wheels are supporting the car, it will be very difficult indeed to reinstall the rack.
