I have a problem on a 2002 W220 320 CDI with the car radio (pre-facelift, small screen) i'm unable to change station on the car radio. When I change the station, the radio immediately returns to the station maybe defined (by the previous owner?). So I have to turn off this "haunted" car radio.
When I turn the radio back on, it is still on that same radio station. I don't understand it.
Would you know if this is due to a setting or if it is a glitch? Is there any way to reset the car radio?
If you go into yr dashboard settings convienience radio you can set chg radio buttons on steering wheel to move by presets or next station on search… If there’s only one station presetstored it’ll default to that same single station when you arrow up or down on steering wheel to chg station if it’s set to presets.. Sorry if bad logic I’m not 100% correct re menu structure but hope you get the general msg. Like via dashboard settings you can set side mirrors to fold on car being switched off etc
