'Tire monitor system inoperative, drive to shop'

05 S500. I tried 'reset to factory settings' and it goes away for a day or two, but comes back. When I try to check it tells me 'tire pressure will show after a few munutes of driving' .. but it doesn't.
Where's the issue .. ez fix or disable msg somehow? I chk tires regularly, have an air compressor so its not a big issue, but if it can be fixed I will

Batteries in the TPMS tire sensors are at end of life and are dying. You have three choices:
Replace the tire sensors - it makes sense to do all at once, as they are all the same age.
Drive the car, ignore the warning, and check tire pressures occasionally.
Disable the TPMS, drive the car, and check tire pressures occasionally.

Does disabling the TPMS suppress the dash alerts?
