Central locking Not working
Central locking is not working in my 2004 mercedes benz S 500 any tips i checked all the fuses they seem to be fine . The automatic rear head rest recline is working along with trunk lid . From what i have read the seem to be all working off the same pump , or is my issue with some fuse or relay and tips on how to trouble shoot and diagnose this issue will be greatly appreciated thanks for having me back .

Look behind where the right rear passenger's heels would be, and pull the floor courtesy lamp out of the carpeted wall - don't bother to unplug it. Find the yellow 20-Amp fuse close to the inner end, and pull it out, then replace it. This resets the PSE (Pneumatic Service Equipment) control module. See if the door locks function now. If they do, but they stop functioning again soon, there are leaks in the door systems - usually a failed pneumatic actuator. Searching will give you numerous threads and videos on repairing the actuators.

Pump replacement fixed mine. Also fixed mirrors not folding in, soft close doors not working, head rests not going down and trunk close.
Now I just have to figure out why the rear end raises up over night on its own.
