W220 320 CDI
Unhappy ABS / ESP / Airmatic faults W220 320 CDI [HELP]

Hello from France

I decided to order a MaxiEcu 2 to diagnose my 2002 W220 320 CDI.

For the ESP/ABS, I made a video, doing a slight reverse / forward :

For the Airmatic, here is a picture of the values I got:

- Capteur de niveau avant gauche = Front left level sensor

- Capteur de niveau avant droit = Front right level sensor

- Capteur de niveau essieu arrière = Rear axle level sensor

I also generated a report following the "quick analysis" of the ECUs,

I can't insert it here, so here it is in PDF Google Drive, unfortunately in French but errors codes are same (Do not take into account the EZS and automatic gearbox errors, they are previous errors due to a bad screwing of the battery) :

Could you help me please ?

Thanks a lot.

Is there actually a functional problem with the Airmatic? If so, exactly what are the symptoms?

There is a problem with the Airmatic, the vehicle is flat after 2 days. I have a slight impression that it leans forward at first before ending up flat on all 4 sides the next day.
I have to disconnect the battery otherwise it drains (probably because of the compressor that adjusts the height of the car).

I saw no information in the report on the Airmatic system.

This might help https://w220.wiki/Airmatic

The Airmatic control module should not run the compressor until the battery is flat. If the car is "flat", and pumps up to a reasonable ride height in a reasonable period of time (a few minutes at most), the pump should stop running when the car hits the correct ride height. If it continues to run, the Airmatic Relay has failed with the contacts welded together, and must be replaced.

The valve block should close the compressed air in and to each strut when the struts are at the proper ride height. If a strut has developed a split or leak in the fabric and rubber rolling diaphragm that holds the air pressure, that strut will leak down, allowing that corner of the car to fall. If all four corners of the car fall, either all four struts have failed due to leaks (possible, but unlikely), or there are leaks in the valve block.

You need to study the wiki article until you understand how the system works, then begin systematic troubleshooting to find the problem or problems.
