SWB's are in US
As crazy as it sounds some are about 6" shorter than most. I drive a 2000 W220 and I parked it next to a 2000 S500 at a local dealer and it was shorter. The difference is the back seat and trunk. I sat in it and it was much more crammed. Also the seats sit straight up no lean in back. Not many but they are here...

I promise you
I'm not just saying it look at how some W220's just look well different. They don't look like the C-Class someone posted they look exactly the same front to back just shorter.

That looks AMAZING, it looks 1000x better like that. A swb S600 or S65, now that would be amazing!

^your car is pretty sick too, so clean. Shouldn't it be possible to import an swb over here, considering that they sold a "significantly similar" model over here? Most S's in europe are short, but might be hard to find a 600.

Haven't driven a w220 but owned and drive 3 w126. 2 were Long and 1 was standard. The shorter one drives much better. Cornering feels much easier and 'normal', and acceleration is better. The long ones do feel like driving a 'limo'. They all had the same interior so it's purely the driving that makes the difference for me.
