Wheel Spacers needed??

I wanted to put 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 AMG Monoblock II on my car, but they told me that it requires spacers because the offset is too small and will hit my brakes. Is this true?? Thanks for all the help!

That definitely does not sound right. If they are AMG wheels, they are designed specifically for your MBZ. I have a 2000 S-Class with the AMG sports package which comes with AMG Monoblock wheels that are in the size 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 and they fit perfectly without rubbing. If it were up to me, I would push the fronts out about 1" and the rears out about 1/2" that way the tires will be flush with the fenders. The only problem is the possible rubbing issues on the right rear fender if the tires are too far out. You will need to cut away at some of the plastic on the rear bumper area inside the wheel well.
