Suspension Problem
My S320cdi puts airmatic visit workshop message up all the time. 2004 model 181k miles.
I have had the car since 65k miles. It’s good car no rust and still achieves 40 mpg on a run.
the car has had rear struts replaced Arnot struts.
it has had both front struts changed with second hand
The compressor will not run and the car just gradually sinks down over days.
you can drive the car but the ride is very firm.
compressor relay has been changed.
When STAR is plugged in it says N51 control module defective.
if you reset this code the car will then allow compressor to start and run.
all voltages acceleration sensors are within spec.
when you exit DAS I then put it on the high suspension setting and drive for couple of days but the message always come back with compressor not working.
I have tried 3 different second hand N51 control units but still no change.
The plugs for the N51 and loom are good.
any ideas very greatly appreciated!!
