05 s430 4matic cluster question .
Hello All , did a ton of reading here and everywhere else and can’t find this answer .
Is there a replacement part for the cluster dimmer ? Or is it possible to fabricate something that will work in the hole ?
Just picked up this ride and fixing some know issues . The PO or ? Broke the spring button and after pulling it out I found the plastic rod in several pieces . Got the cluster removal tool today from eBay as some dumb azzzzz obviously tried to force it out and fix that issue so it’s protruded out a smidge on the left side . Hopefully they didn’t snap the tab . Don’t ya love PO.s who just ruin things instead of doing things right ?
