S600 hissing by the throttle body
Is this normal? I tried to take it apart to see if anything was broken. I got as far as removing the intercoolers and stopped. I didn't have any gasket seal on me so I didn't want to remove the throttle body. I couldn't see anything that looks like it's leaking. Engine runs and drives just fine. Idle is good too. Idk if I should dive further into the problem or just leave it. Also is it just me or does the s600 have the hottest engine bay ever? My engine bay gets super hot but everything seems to run normal so idk. Any info would be great. Thanks everyone

Procure a 6' length of 1/4" PVC or rubber tubing. Stick one end in your best ear, and use the other end as a probe to pinpoint the area of the leak.
There is a lot of engine in a tight space. You don't give us complete information (such as year), so we don't know whether or not there are turbos adding to the heat. Updating the profile would be nice.

Indeed, use a hose to pinpoint is, or buy yourself a smoke machine and try to locate the leak.
Also yes, the engine bay runs hot, what else where you expecting with a massive V12 under the hood xD

It's a 2006 s600. So with a smoke machine where do I insert the nozzle? Do I just remove the air filters and blow smoke in there?
this car has 8 more cylinders than what I'm used to. Never occured to me that having more cylinders equate to more heat. Its so hot under the hood. I feel like i could cook some eggs on top of my engine. Coming from modifying 240sx's it's a totally different experience. I love having a v12. It's so sad that they're getting rid of v12's in all these new cars
