2004 S430 seat coding help

I have a 2004 S430 4Matic. I got a beautiful set of S55 AMG seats for $200. I installed the driver seat today. Connections were perfectly fine and it went in easily. All functions of the seat work perfectly (except for ventilation and active functions since mine didn't come with it). I am now getting a red warning on the dash board and SRS light. I plugged my code reader and cleared out the error and it comes right back. The code it's throwing for is "seatbelt pretensioner resistance is too high". Is there anyone out there with coding software in the central NJ area that can code the error away?
I'm also wondering since this car was in an accident, if I just swap out my old seat belt receiver for the one on the AMG seat if that might solve the issue altogether?
On another note- If I purchase the ventilation switch for the heated/ventilated feature, will it actually get the fans to kick on for the ventilation or does that get sorted out through the same module that everything goes through?
Thanks for any help.

can you tell me about the ventilation switch? mine does not do anything when I twist the 0-5 twist dial thing on the seat. did you replace anything inside the seat under the plastic cover I always hit with my feet?
