Man, this thread was a pure classic just ran into it again. I wonder whatever happened to tank and his wonderfully maintained Mercedes.

We all know he didn’t succeed in getting the tow company or the dealer to pay for his repairs. I’m just wondering if he left the car at the dealer for them to do a mechanics lien and sale on it. Clearly he doesn’t own it anymore since he isn’t posting about new problems lol

I would say it is impossible to blow 4 brake lines at the same time without connecting to a hydraulic ram.

I don't think that you could do it with a ram - as soon as the first hose blows, the pressure in that circuit drops to zero.

I don't think that we ever actually got the real explanation of what happened.
