Hello everybody,

i have a 2002 S500 and i was thinking of upgrading my headlights to the 2003-04 type. i have a couple of questions first, i did a little bit of research and found out that i would actually have to modify my S500 Headlamps housing brackets to fit the new ones and most of the times there is always a gap left behind from which rain water usually goes in which is bad so what could be done. secondly iam hesitating as to why many people that have modified thats S5s dont usually upgrade the headlamps because i dont think it could be the price i have seen people with 10 000 dollar body kits on this site. so lemme know what i should do wether to upgrade or leave it alone.

Yes, I have wondered the same thing. 2002 and older headlamps suck. They look old and fogy.

Do you know a page or site where I can go to get alot of what you can do to a s500 2002 and where to buy it.....?

bro i just know this one site where you can order the headlights from but the thing is this person is selling it for half the price and its on EBAY so i dunno about you but i have my doubts here is its link

Hey that guy has a lot of negative feedback both on Ebay and the [other] MB forum. Many people have said that he is a fraud and never ships the product.

but my question remains would i have to modify my vehicle in anyway to install these upgrades or would they fit into my car its a 2000 s5
