Aftermarket Air Conditioner Compressors
What are the opinions on using aftermarket Air Conditioning Compressors on the W220?
I bought one new from a company called "Buy Auto Parts" and it lasted for about 6 months before leaking Freon through the front seal. Since cooler months and eventually the Winter were on their way, and there were a few months left on the warranty, I went for awhile without replacing it. A month before the warranty expired, the company provided me with a new replacement.
I'm having intermittent problems with it right now but it could be because the evacuation and recharging was not done correctly by the mechanic I used.

I've been happy with 1aauto.com. Check if they have compressors. They provide a limited lifetime warranty and affordable prices. I've bought airmatic struts from them, new, and they've worked beautifully on my 01 S430.
