Most likely the coil pack, second most likely is the voltage transformer between the two coils. Look at www.v12icpack.com.
what I would do first is rent, his rebuilt, voltage, transformer from him, as it can be easily changed in five minutes on top of the engine. If that solves it, you keep the rental voltage transformer. If it doesn’t solve it, you return the voltage transformer rental and buy the coil pack.
