2002 mercedes-benz s500
Radio issues
I have a 2002 benz s500 and I'm replacing the radio with an aftermarket radio. I've cut out the fiber optics wire, taken out the cd changer, amplifier, and all of the other components in the trunk. I've cut the wires for the speakers && connected speaker wires and ran them all the way to the dashboard. The issue I'm having is, the radio turns on when the battery is connected not when the key is in the ignition, I have to turn the volume almost all the way up to hear it, and what wires connects to the steering wheel? Any information would be greatly appreciated
