S-Class AWD is now gratis!
Hope this is new news here - I did a search and found nothing. MBUSA offers 4-Matic as an no cost option. The base price for the S430 and S500 are the same with or without 4-Matic. I got the heads up from Dec issue of EuroTuner in "rumor has it" section:
"The '05 Mercedes S430 and S500 will be offered with all-wheel drive as a free option. In previous years, AWD has been a $2,900 ad-on, but the company decided to offer it as a free upgrade as an incentive to bring buyers to the aging design before the 2006 redesign is launched. To cover some of the cost, M-B raised the price of the S430 by $1,050 and the S500 by $1,200."

oh thats totally right i was thinking why they would just give away 4matic but like Dema said in the USA theres not many places with snow...iam just thinking it would be good business selling 4matics in canada and buying them from the USA ;-)
