Instrument Cluster Needle not displaying accurately
The unit died on me while I was driving b/c the alarm unit tripped the fuse. Independently the rear CCFL bulbs had died (due to a poor transformer). I shipped it off to get fixed, but now the needle does not point accurately. I had shipped it back and they did something, but the problem persists.
Is there something I'm missing here? Is there a needle calibration in DAS or similar?

the needle is adjustable. when you open the cluster its right there and you can push it anyway you want

I modified it slightly, it no longer caught while moving, but I didn't reset it like you described?
I think I have to physically pull it off the stepper motor and put it back on to get it to set right? There's certainly a way to get it 10 auto-calibrate I believe?
