Need to replace the Drive Authorization System.

Greetings. I own a 2005 Mercedes Benz S500 (W220 - Base, not 4Matic) which needs the Drive Authorization System replaced so that I can get it to start. I know that I would need to find a donor car which has the Key(s), EIS, Gear Shifter and the engine control module to transfer to my vehicle or find a set on eBay. My question is, would I have to find a set from a vehicle that is base model or non 4Matic in order for everything to work or can I get a set from a 4Matic model and still make things work? Would any other W220 year or model (eg. S430, etc.) work or does it have to be specifically from another 2005 year model? Thank you all in advanced for the help.

You will need a 2004-2006 s500 setup from a non 4 matic car because the transmission changed to a 7 speed from the 5 speed on earlier cars

so the shifter from earlier cars would be incompatible

also 4 matic cars used 5 speed so those are incompatible of any year

Did you read what I even said? The earlier cars all used a five speed automatic. You need a 2004 to 2006 with the seven speed automatic.

Are you sure you need to replace the eis? Have you checked the fuses between the passenger side door and the dash?

Its a 7.5 amp fuse. I didnt have a 7.5 so i replaced it with either the 15 or a 10, i cant remember. I forgot ehich fuse it is but there are only 9 fuses. Wont take long to check them all
