high pressure power steering line

Does anyone have tips on removing and replacing the high pressure power steering line? The connection at the steering rack is giving me trouble. I was able to break it loose and got some difficult turns but its not out. The bolt is tucked way back with very little clearance. Crowfoot hose wrench hasn't worked, even with swivels and extensions.

I cut my wrench in half and will keep working on it in the morning, but I'm worried about putting it back together. There wasn't much I could find with the search or google. Wondering if anyone has done this job and has any tips.

Thanks in advance...

This one requires serious finger-orgami skills along with your entire mechanicking bag of tricks.

Additionally try to remove and loosen as many parts around it as possible.

What does Mercedes suggest?

More problems...

Some sites say part number 22-04-60-23-24 is the correct part for a 2006 S500 Base model. When I provide my VIN, that part doesn't fit. I can't find anyone (On a Sunday) that has one in stock and so far, I can't find the correct part number confirmed with my VIN from a site online.VIN: WDBNG75J76A482396

No active body control.

I went to the junk yard that's close by and there was a 2004 s430 but the hose looks totally different.

Checked with a Mercedes master mechanic who checked for me. He gave me this part number which looks correct. 2204602224.

Out of stock everywhere
