Why would you ask this question to the internet when you have a hood and a car you can directly inspect?

No telling; could be anything.

Open the hood and examine the belts and pulleys. If you are not familiar enough with what they should look like, ask a friend who knows something about cars to look with you.

Sounds like either your belt and pulleys snapped off the front of your engine, or your transmission blew up, or the driveshaft flex disc blew up. Without getting under the car and looking, we can’t help you here.

Engines for these are cheap, plentiful, and relatively easy to replace, so that might indeed be the route to take.
